What's going on?

Currently, in British Columbia, fires continue to rage on and displace countless communities and cities in their reach. These fires started primarily due to human activity, weather & lightning storms.

With close to 600 wildfires burning across the province, and 50 of them considered highly dangerous, the provincial government of British Columbia is stepping in financially in order to support these efforts.

According to the BC Wildfire Service, there are currently 560 active wildfires across British Columbia, with a state of emergency being declared already.

Our volunteers at the Young Humanitarians Foundation has proudly raised $250 for the Canadian Red Cross as a part of their wildfires fund.
